Chicken feet Recipe | Chicken Insides: Chicken intestines, feet, heads, hearts, necks and gizzards

Chicken insides combo
Ingredients:
Chicken feet
Chicken necks
Chicken hearts
Chicken heads
Chicken intestines
Chicken gizzards
Onion
Bell peppers
Spring onion (optional)
1 tomato chopped/ grated
Chicken stock
Water
1 tsp of each spice: Portuguese chicken spice, coriander, Potjiekos spice, seven colours grill spice, Salt & Black pepper
Cooking oil
NB: Add anything else that you like adding. My recipe changes all the time depending on my mood. :) 😄
Method*
1. Chicken gizzards cooked in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes with just chicken spice, salt & black pepper and 🧅 onion.
2. Fry chicken intestines season with salt & Black pepper and chicken spice then set aside
3. Using the same pot, add cooking oil and 1 onion chopped. Mix well for a few minutes. 2-3 min
4. Add bell peppers and spring onions and mix well.
5. Add your Chicken feet, hearts, necks and heads, 1 chopped/ grated tomato, chicken stock, water season with S&P as well as @sevencoloursgrill Cook for 20 minutes or until the meat is cooked.
6. Add your cooked gizzards and chicken intestines for all flavours to marry each other and become one. 😁
7. Add anything else that you like and cook for 15 more minutes.
Serve with anything your heart desires.

We eat the tripe in Nigeria, but we clean it with hot water and take off the black sheet... its usually cleaner and has less smell.
This tripe was very clean. In South Africa we don't remove the black part. It's tastier with it. Though I'd like to taste it without it. I'll try it soon.

Yo I was just trying to make hard body chicken for the first time after 4 hours of boiling the chicken it just doesn't get soft 😮
Ya, it takes awhile. It's not going to be completely soft. 😁 That's why it's called a hard body chicken. 😂🍗 Very Tasty though. I hope you enjoyed it.

Why do you add the fish head into the veggie mix?
To intensify the flavour of the gravy. If you wanted a chicken gravy, then you would add a chicken wing or any chicken pieces with bones on for flavour.

This is what I am currently cooking. It's been on the stove since 12pm. I pre-cleaned it yesterday, soaked in coarse salt water overnight. Cleaned it up again this morning removing the membrane. Will be serving it with Samp and beans. A traditional recipe with just salt n pepper and nothing else

thank you for this recipe, i am def going to try it. Just one clarification. Did you use both beef and chicken stock or only chicken, The jug full of stock in the boiling process was chicken stock, and later you added a chicken cube to the pot. Can i make the same recipe with only beef stock?
